Registration conditions

Welcome to the Varadi Institute! Here you will take dynamic and efficient courses given by highly qualified teachers, according to the dates and schedules you choose.

 

In order to become more familiar with our pedagogical approach and measure the progress you make during one lesson, we offer a trial lesson which entail no obligation to continue. The duration of a lesson is 45 minutes.

 

The student only registers and pays the annual registration fees after they have taken the trial lesson. If they decide to continue, the trial lesson is considered the first lesson of the programme. If the student decides not to register, then only the fees of the trial lesson are due.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT

 

The lessons are billed every term. In exceptional cases, the possibility of monthly payment can be granted upon request. The price of the lessons has to be paid before the beginning of each term or, in the case of monthly payment, before the beginning of each month.

 

For each registration, a contract is drawn in order to cover the fees of the pedagogical material and the annual administrative fees, namely:
fr. 85.- per subject in the Department of Languages and fr. 100.- per subject in the Department of Secretarial and Computer Studies.

 

ABSENCES AND LESSON CANCELLATION

 

Group courses: in case of absence, the price of the lessons is due.

Semi-private and mini-group courses: in case of absence, the price of the lessons is due.

 

Private courses: Private lessons cancelled at least 24 hours in advance can be rescheduled in the current month. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance cannot be rescheduled.

In all cases, the teacher and the student can record the contents of the missed lesson or prepare pedagogical material corresponding to the missed lesson.

 

INTERRUPTION OF LESSONS

 

As long as the student has not informed the Varadi Institute of their desire to stop the programme, the registration will be automatically renewed at the beginning of each term. Group, semi-private and mini-group courses can be interrupted with a 3-month notice. Private courses can be interrupted with a 4-week notice.

 

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

 

If registration is cancelled more than 8 weeks before the beginning of the course, the Institute will reimburse the total amount paid for the course.
If the cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, the Institute will reimburse 75% of the price of the course.
If the cancellation occurs more than 15 days before the beginning of the course, the Institute will reimburse 50% of the price of the course.
If the cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the beginning of the course, the Institute will reimburse 25% of the price of the course.
In case of a cancellation after the beginning of the course, no reimbursement will be granted.

 

The registration fees will remain with the Institute in all cases.
