REGISTRATION CONDITIONS


Welcome to the Varadi Institute ! Here you will take dynamic and effecient courses given by highly
qualified professors, according to the dates and schedules you have choosen.
The choice of your program will be determinded by a free test or a trial lesson which will entail
no commitment.

The length of a lesson is 45 minutes.

The first lesson entails no commitment: The student does not pay the annual registration fees
and registers only after he/she has taken the trial lesson.
If resgistration occurs, the the trial lesson is considered as the first lesson of the program.
If the student decides not to register, then only the fees of the trial lesson are due.


MODE OF PAYMENT

The lessons are billed every term.
In exceptional cases the possibility to pay month by month can be granded upon request.
The price of the lessons has to be paid before the beginning of each term or, in the case of
monthly payment, before the start of each month.
For each registration a contract is drawn in order to cover the fees of the pedagogical material
and the administrative fees for the calendar year in progress. This sum is Fr. 85.- per subject
in the Department of Languages and Fr. 100.- per subject in the Department of Secretarial and
Computer Studies.


ABSENCES AND CACELLATION OF LESSONS

Group courses: in case of absence the price of the lessons is due. The Institute will do its
utmost best to arrange make-up classes in parallel classes during the duration of the program.

Semi-private and mini-group courses: in case of absence the price of the lessons is due.

Private courses: Private lessons cancelled at least 24 hours in advance can be recuperated
during the month in progress. Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance cannot be
made up.
In all cases the teacher can, or on the part of the student, tape the contents of the missed lesson
on cassette or prepare pedagogicla material that corresponds to the program of the missed lesson.


INTERRUPTION OF COURSE

As long as the student has not announced his/her desire to stop the course, the registration is
automatically renwed from term to term.
Group, semi-private and mini-group courses can be interrpted after an advance notice of 3 months.
Private courses can be interrupted after a previous notice of 4 weeks.


CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

If registration is cancelled mor than 8 weeks befor the start of the course, the Institute will
reimburse the total amount of the price of the course.

If cancellation occurs less than 4 weeks before the start of the course, the Institute will
reimburse 75% of the price of the course selected.

If cancellation occurs mor than 15 days before the start of the course, the Institute will
reimburse 50% of the price of the course selected.

If cancellation occurs less than 15 days before the start of the course, the Institute will
reimburse 25% of the price of the course selected.

In case of cancellation after the course has started, no reimbursement will be granted.

The registration fees will remain with the Institute in all cases.
